Orchard
it can also be nice this way

and because of the handphone break down, I have to go town both yesterday and today. I know that there is also a nokia shop in Clementi, but why would I miss out such a good opportunity to go to Orchard?

Called up my buddy Shenhua last minute and managed to arrange a date with him to orchard. (FYI, Shenhua, male, single, good-looking, fun, rich, not a gay. so if anyone interested, leave a message on his blog to ask him out. link can be found on the left.)

First stop is Cineleisure, only to find that Nokia Care was down. Got no choice but to go Wheelock, checked out the Apple store while waiting. ipod mini is cooool... no wonder so many people are crazy about it. I was never into portable music player, but after a good 20 minutes in the apple store, I am pretty sure that I am accidentally in love with this ipod baby.

Finally sent my phone in for repair. Was told by the clerk that the keypad malfunctioning was caused by dust. Ironically he was pointing at a perfectly clean spot. Not a good liar.

Went across the street to Wisma Atria for a haircut, only to find that Jantzen was down. (two in a row, what are the chances!?!?) Met Matthew at coffee club, was encouraged by him to go Reds. Remembered the last time i went there, it was not so good. but still decided to give it one more try (by avoiding the same stylist that is). While I was having the haircut, shenhua went to check out if "Constantin" is still playing so that we could catch a movie after this. Only to find that there isn't any more. (strike three. is there more!???)

The only nice movie on screen now is "Closer" by Clive Owen, Juliet Roberts, Jude Law. But then somehow going for a romantic movie with a dude just seems too weird to me. And believe me, the feeling was mutual.

It was already dinner time after I was done. Since watching movie was out, we decided to dine in somewhere restaurant-ish. Pasta Cafe is the nearest. Dinner was good, and it was on Shenhua this time (which made it even better). Bro i will reciprocate next time (as agreed :D). I really enjoyed the talking.

That was yesterday. Today I went town again, collected my hp back, finally felt complete again. lingered in the Apple store even longer this time...

You know what i just realized? After being used to getting trapped in NUS and Clementi area for such a long time, I am pretty maxed out with so much Orchard going these two days. In statistical terms, if you would plot amount of time spent at Orchard per day against time, the graph will be terribly skewed to the left. :)

What a nerdy way to end this story!!!! Let me try again:
