Soccer soccer soccer
and more soccer

Today during lessons, there were a few guys who seemed pretty as much lethargic. Well, it's the champion's league week and therefore another ball-worshipping time for the guys. Despite busy schedule, people always turn up for the games, at around 3am. Sometimes we should be thankful that the games are played in Europe, so that it will be at night here in Asia. All we need to do is to sacrifice some sleep, which can always be compensated by sacrificing some more lessons in the next morning.

Well, I am not gonna crap more about the UEFA games ( Did I just hear a sigh of relief from the girls?)... Please refer to sheep or songsong's blog for more information about the matches. (links on the left)

However, I do want you guys to shift your attention to the soccer scene back home for a while. In the Asian champions league, the two Chinese clubs, Luneng and Jianlibao, have done us pride by beating two Japanese clubs 1-0.

The victory for Jianlibao is especially marvelous as the Shenzhen club was considered an underdog before the game. And the goal scorer, Li Yi, had been a terrible national team striker who kept on bringing in nightmares to the fans by missing numerous chances to score in the past. I certainly hope he will be able to find the back of the net again in the next match.
Here is a link to some comments on the games. Hope you enjoy.
