Over not yet

Ladies and gentlemen... back by (not-so-) popular demand... the crappiest blogger in the history, according to a few loyal readers, we give you... Robby GXL!

That's right! My 11-day exam run ended 3rd May. As expected, the last paper on software engineering was the most difficult one among all. A good 20 marks was left untouched. Well, let's face it, i am not gonna be the next James Gosling, the guy who both invented Java and inflicted pains on millions of (unwilling) programming learners like me. On a second thought, I'd like to replace the word millions to hundreds, because many do like to write codes, like a hobby, they are called freaks.

3rd of May also concluded my second year in University. How time flies! Two years ago, I was someone who had a deflated ego, completely lost interests in studies and constantly grumbled about making wrong decisions... Now, I am no longer bothered by any of those things. I am again motivated to excel academically and most importantly I have a plan for myself. "Anyone can lose one fight. When you come back from this, you will be the champion of the world." When Morgen Freeman said that line in Million Dollar Baby, I can feel him talking to me.

What else have I done in these two years? Accepted Christ... learnt a new language (Deutsch)... started a blog... made more friends (and foe, once I punched a guy on the face, errr...)... took a vacation internship... working on getting a second internship now in Silicon Valley. I just had a phone interview this morning for a Software testing job. I know, it's unbelievable... I know a bare minimum about that thing. Anyways, I don't think I am the person they are looking for. Tough luck I will get that, maybe that's why i was stunned by a black cat just before the interview... bad sign... But I will give my best shot if I do get the job. We engineers are trained to pick up new skills quickly. Hope I can get the internship results soon in the future because the battle is not over yet until I put that big red PLACED sign on that NOC website.

GXL got high at 1:57 PM
