Never did something like this before

Who said I never update my blog any more? I am doing it now, after two months. but only because I have never done this before. The special thing is that it is happening now at a corner of the changi airport, inside the Pacific Coffee Company. I am sitting next to a hot American chick, sipping mango guava chillino and using the internet. Oh did i mention that it's 2am in the morning now? well, i am a bit sleepy and the people on msn are leaving for some sleep. While there is nothing better to do, I think i might as well write some stuff here while waiting for my flight out to San Francisco.

It's been a while since I last blogged. I guess for me this passion dies down pretty fast. While tired of plain writing, I tried to revamp my website with something cool and IT-ish. But the beta version turned out all weird and funny, and I am too embarrassed to launch it. so let me go learn more web design in the future first. I was just talking to KP, once upon a time a fervent blogger too, who shares the same sentiments towards this blogging sluggishness nowadays. I still have many thoughts in my head these days, especially when i hit the shower, but instead of putting them down here, i choose to let it vaporize and left behind in the moist bathroom.

I am so glad that I had Japanese buffet for dinner just now. If not, I must be feeling damn hungry right now. This jap restaurant at King's Arcade is fantastic, because of its authenticity. Surprisingly I never went there before. Now I know where to eat besides Hilton when I crave for sashimi. The chef, Angus is his name if I am not wrong, recommended the salmon belly meat. It was really good, really smooth and really creamy, because it contains more fat and can only be found at this 8-inch area out of the whole fish. Sensational.

Since we are on the topic of food, I might as well tell you all about my pizza adventure with Lihao a few days ago. After 2 hours of intensive camera shopping, we decided to go to Modestos, an alfresco italian pizza restaurant next to Forum, for dinner. We must have sucked bad in mathematics and ordered a 20 inch pizza, with lots of extra toppings. When this gigantic half-meter pizza came while we were still happily eating some bread appetizer, I could only blame the waiter for letting us do such a stupid thing. The westerners sitting around all looked at us two chinese young men in awe. We managed to finish a marvelous 3/4.

I learnt to make pasta and lasagne last week. I think food is the number one thing I am gonna miss while eating hamburg in the states. That's why I have been savoring as many local dishes as possible these days. Ok, i shall stop talking about food now, it makes me hungry.

Shall I crap some sports next? Ok, for soccer, more action off the field than people actually playing it. Arsenal sold Viera to Juventus. I have never expected that coming. I have to say that it makes me less a fan to Arsenal now, but not more a fan to Juv either. If that is not bad enough, try this - Vieri has gone to AC Milan! But does it make me less an Inter fan? No! I stay with internazionale till the end of the world! So AC has gotten Gilardino, it is so not gonna work. I am telling ya.

As for NBA, players are being dished around faster than a Steve-Nash-directed transition attack. With powerful players going Bucks and Cavs, I can finally imagine now that the East conference having the same level of competitiveness as its west counterpart. The Rockets are doing just fine in the transactions as well. They just signed PF Stromile Swift from the Grizzlies! It's gonna be exciting for them in the new season. I always feel that Sports Interactive should develop a Champion manager kind of game for the NBA. There is currently no such game in the market and the closest one will be those online fantasy leagues but much much more can be done. It is gonna be huge, especially in China. Just have to make sure that they dont list Taiwan as a country in the game, otherwise the China government is gonna ban it just like how they banned Football manager games. Damn those politics...

ah... maybe i will talk about politics next. but first of all, let me go check in for my flight!
