Say "Hi Califonia"

So just now I went to check in my bags. And now, after about 30 hours, I am in my apartment in Watersedge, a beautiful lakeside house at Foster City, 30 minutes down south of downtown San Francisco.

I took a flight from Changi airport, SG to narita airport, Tokyo. I used my one hour of stay in Tokyo airport to explore the Japanese culture. All I can say is that Japanese girls are cute but men look really unflattering.

The journey from Tokyo to SFO was much more interesting. Sitting besides me was Ryan Villalobos, a 20-year-old Sacramento native who naturally supports the Sacramento Kings and surprisingly also supports the Houston Rockets. Ryan is a college student who studies international politics and language. He is totally into the japanese culture after staying here for about 3 months. We exchanged our opinions on NBA, Japanese and Asian culture in general, and everything else under the sun. Did i mention that he likes to listen to F.I.R? haha, yeah, he speaks a little bit of Chinese and is a big fan.

After arriving at SFO at noon, my NOC seniors Mary and Jitsion gave me a ride home in his Mitsubishi Sports car. The weather is sunny at 28 degree C and the air is refreshing. During the 30 minutes drive from the airport to my apartment, I didn't see a single skyscraper. It's low rise 2-or-3-storey house everywhere. then we exited from Highway 101 (I will probably use this highway everyday) and entered foster city, a sceneic town with many beautiful houses, lakes, bridges and people.

Then till last night before I went to bed, I have been following my NOC seniors around to eat, to get my bank account while trying really hard to stay awake because of the jet lag. I will give you all a more detailed account later, and if I ever see a tall building today, I will take a picture.
